Those Skeleton dinos are going to steal the show. I have to admit that I’m rooting for them over Kong. Should make for some pretty epic Kaiju fights, but my only concern are the human characters. They seem like they could get a little annoying if they get too much screen time.

I agree, those skeleton creatures look incredible. The scale of the monsters is also impressive, especially Kong, and I’m sure there will be some great battles! There’s a good mix of characters as well, even if they are a bit generic, but should still be a fun film š

I thoroughly enjoyed Jackson’s version of Kong, so I am really looking forward to this. I’m hoping there will be another “director’s cut” with 45+ minutes more of film š

Peter Jackson’s version of Kong was a really good, enjoyed that film a lot. Very excited for Kong Skull Island as well, the creature effects look stunning. Sure there will be a Directors Cut at some point, there usually is now.

This looks so awesome, it’s been too long since we’ve seen Kong!

I like the scale of Kong in this trailer as well, look so powerful and menacing. Going to be an action packed film by the looks of it! š

This is looking rather good, great visuals and love the 70s/Vietnam War era setting (not sure about the comedy value from John C Reilly though) – pretty impressed by Kong himself as well!
I’m more convinced about King Kong vs Godzilla actually working now…

Its a very impressive trailer. I like the look of the setting and the monster effects are also excellent. Kong looks stunning as well! I’m not entirely sure on all the cast either, but I expect they will be overshadowed by the monster effects anyway. Looking forward to Kong Skull Island, and King Kong V Godzilla certainly seems an even more exciting prospect now! Cheers for commenting š

This might be my favourite film of 2017 and I haven’t even seen it yet!

Funny story. I only learned of this movie’s existence a couple days ago, and it looks kind of fun.
I remember Peter Jackson’s Kong movie being alright, but way too long for its own good. Hopefully this movie’s pacing works better.

Well, I’d kind of forgotten about it as well, seems ages since the first teaser trailer. Jackson’s Kong movie was ok, but it was far too long – something a lot of films are now IMOP. Skull Island looks fun though, sure it will be an exciting film to look out for š

It does. I wasn’t that excited by the first trailer, but this one make Kong Skull Island look really good. Awesome creature effects!

I thought those effects were pretty nifty.

I like the scale of the monsters, especially Kong, who looks really imposing and powerful – more so than in Jackson’s Kong film I think. Skull Island certainly looks good, hope the story can match the effects.

We will just have to wait and see how it turns out.
