Sci-Fi Jubilee My YouTube Channel Red Dead Redemption 2

Hi everyone and thank you for checking out my YouTube Channel! I’ve started Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar Games eagerly awaited prequel to 2010’s superb Red Dead Redemption while I’ve been resting and taking things easy after being in hospital recently. So, seeing how I’ve not done many new videos for bit, I thought this would be the perfect game for me to stream some new gameplay footage for you on my YouTube Channel.

Check out some my early Red Dead Redemption 2 adventures!

In this video I went exploring and did some side quests, and just gawped at the beautiful scenery!

This mission, A Quiet Time, was a drunken night out in the town of Valentine, and great fun!

Blessed Are The Meek was my favourite mission so far, as you go an break a fellow gunslinger out of jail in a neighbouring town. This was a really fun and action packed mission to play!

I’ve not been playing Red Dead Redemption 2 for that long, but I’ve been totally blown away by the storyline and how impressive the game looks. There’s loads to see and do in this game, so much so that it felt a little overwhelming at first, but after a few hours I was soon settling into the flow of the story and getting to grips with the gameplay mechanics. No doubt I’ve only just scratched the surface of what this game has to offer, but I’m glad to say that Red Dead Redemption has certainly been well worth the wait to play!

I’d also just like to take this opportunity to say a really big thank you for supporting my blog Sci-Fi Jubilee and my YouTube Channel – especially when I was off sick and couldn’t. blog or stream games recently. My YouTube Channel has always been such a fun and interactive part of Sci-Fi Jubilee, and that’s all down to you! So thank you all very much for liking and subscribing and be sure to look out for more Red Dead Redemption 2 videos and live streams – along with some of the other games that I’ve been playing as well – over on my YouTube Channel in the weeks to come while I recuperate. Cheers everyone!

Paul.

Sci-Fi Jubilee 6th Anniversary!

I’m very happy to say my blog Sci-Fi Jubilee has now reached its 6th anniversary! Wow, this last year seems to have flown by so fast as well! Needless to say I’ve have had a brilliant time writing this blog over the last six years, writing countless TV, film, and comic book reviews and articles from a wealth of different genres – especially when it comes to Doctor Who and Comic Books – which I real love writing about!

But of course, Sci-Fi Jubilee wouldn’t by anything without any of you! I always look at these anniversary posts as a way to say a big thank you to each and every one of you for reading and following my blog. You have always been so kind and generous, especially when I fell ill with a chest infection earlier this year, and you have constantly given me so much amazing support via your comments on my blog, nominating Sci-Fi Jubilee for blog awards, and sharing my reviews on Twitter, WordPress, and Sci-Fi Jubilee’s Facebook page.

Thanks to you my YouTube Channel is now a key feature on the blog as well. I really enjoyed doing the walkthroughs and videos I’ve done for Infamous Second Son, Monster Hunter World, and God of War (PS4). The channel continues to grow and I want to thank you all for your subscriptions, comments, and words of encouragement that has made the YouTube Channel such a fun and welcome addition to Sci-Fi Jubilee.

You know when I started this blog I never could’ve imagined that Sci-Fi Jubilee would go on to become as big a part of my life as it has, and I can’t thank you enough for that. Most of all though it is your feedback and support that makes Sci-Fi Jubilee and blogging feel so enjoyable and special to me. Sci-Fi Jubilee has grown so much over the last six years, its given me some amazing opportunities, enabled me to write on other websites and projects, and its all thanks to you! Cheers for all your awesome support everyone, and here’s to another fun year of reviews on Sci-Fi Jubilee and walkthroughs on my YouTube Channel in the year ahead!

Sci-Fi Jubilee My YouTube Channel God of War PS4

Hi everyone and thanks for checking out my YouTube Channel! I’ve recently started playing God Of War PS4. I’ve been eagerly awaiting the release of this new instalment of the God of War franchise, and I thought it’d also be a great game for me to stream gameplay footage for you on my YouTube Channel as well.

God of War PS4 begins a bold new era for Kratos. With his vengeance against the Gods of Olympus far behind him, Kratos now lives as a man in the lands of Norse Gods and monsters. It is in this harsh, unforgiving world that he must battle to survive… and teach his son, Atreus, to do the same.

Check out the awesome start to God of War PS4!

This new God of War game certainly gets off to an action packed start! From here the adventure builds into a epic quest, one filled with monsters and magic as Kratos and Atreus explore new lands! Needless to say I’ve been having so much fun playing God of War, the story is brilliantly structured, the combat is incredible, and the graphics are stunning!

Also I’d just like say a big thank you for supporting my blog Sci-Fi Jubilee and my YouTube Channel while I was recovering from a nasty chest infection back in February & March. My YouTube Channel has become a fun and interactive part of Sci-Fi Jubilee, and that’s all thanks to you! Cheers for liking and subscribing and sure to look out for more God of War videos and live streams on my YouTube Channel.

Sci-Fi Jubilee My YouTube Channel Infamous Second Son

Hello everyone, and thanks for checking out my YouTube Channel! I’ve been enjoying the summer months so not done many videos or walkthroughs for a bit. I’ve just started Infamous Second Son recently; it was free on Playstation Plus this month, so as I’ve never played it before I thought it’d be a good game to stream for my channel.

Infamous Second Son is the third game – or fourth if you count Infamous: Festival of Blood – in the Infamous franchise. The game is a sequel to Infamous and Infamous 2, two great games that I really enjoyed. Infamous Second Son is set in Seattle and takes place seven years after Infamous 2, where the Department of Unified Protection is capturing super-powered people known as Conduits. While Infamous and Infamous 2 featured Cole McGrath, Infamous Second Son features a new protagonist called Delsin Rowe who gains the power to absorb the abilities of other Conduits. As with all Infamous games the decision-making Karma feature plays a key role in shaping the games story, cut scenes, Delsin’s appearance, and the endings.

Here’s my playlist so far for Infamous Second Son

I’m really enjoying Infamous Second Son, some aspects of the game do seem a little dated now, but it looks great, its fun to play, the combat and controls are easy to master, and the storyline is action-packed. There are plenty of side missions to do as well. This is one game I always meant to check out, but for one reason or another I never did, so I’m glad I’ve finally got around to playing it. I’ll stream some more glameplay videos as I work my way through Infamous Second Son, please feel free to like and subscribe if you enjoy them, and thank you all so much for your continued support of Sci-Fi Jubilee and my YouTube Channel.

Sci-Fi Jubilee 5th Anniversary

My blog Sci-Fi Jubilee has reached its 5th anniversary! This year seems to have flown by so quickly as well! I’ve have had a fantastic time writing this blog over the last five years, covering a wide variety of TV, film, and comic book reviews and articles from numerous subjects and genres that I enjoy most – especially when it comes to Doctor Who, The Walking Dead, and comic books – which I absolutely love writing about!

Of course, though, Sci-Fi Jubilee would be nothing without all of you! So, I’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to everybody out there for reading and following my blog. You are always so generous and kind, and give me so much awesome support through commenting on my blog nominating me for blog awards, and sharing my reviews on Twitter, WordPress, and Sci-Fi Jubilee’s Facebook page. My new YouTube Channel has also become a major feature on the blog now as well, the walkthroughs I did for The Return to Arkham Collection and Resident Evil 7 Biohazard were really fun to do, and I can’t thank you enough for all of your subscriptions, comments, and encouragement that has continued to make the YouTube Channel feel such a welcome addition to Sci-Fi Jubilee. When I first started out with this blog, I never dreamed Sci-Fi Jubilee would become such a huge part of my life as it has. But most importantly it is your feedback that make Sci-Fi Jubilee and blogging so enjoyable for me. Sci-Fi Jubilee has evolved so much over the last five years, I also write for other websites now too, and I look forward to doing some more walkthroughs on my YouTube Channel in the future. Cheers for all your amazing support everyone, and here’s to another brilliant year!

Sci-Fi Jubilee My YouTube Channel Horizon Zero Dawn

Thanks for checking out my YouTube Channel everyone! After having a short break from walkthrough videos because I’ve been busy reviewing some of the latest comic books and films recently, I thought I’d check out the new PS4 game Horizon Zero Dawn. It’s a great game where you play as Aloy, a young female warrior in a lush, post apocalyptic world where nature has reclaimed the ruins of a long forgotten civilization, and pockets of humanity live on in primitive hunter gatherer tribes. Their dominion over this new wilderness has been usurped by the machines – fearsome mechanical creatures of unknown origin!

I’m really enjoying playing Horizon Zero Dawn, there’s a vast open world to explore, and I’ve become completely engrossed by the storyline and the characters. Gameplay is also excellent and the controls are easy to master. Overall there’s a great mix of all-out action, stealth, weapons, traps, and skill crafting, and the graphics are amazing!

This video I’ve edited together features the a scene where Aloy helps destroy a “Demon”, a fearsome Corruptor machine, along with the Corrupted machines it leads in an attack on the sanctuary of Mother Heart. It’s a really action-packed moment in the early stages of the story, I think it gives you a good sense of what the game is like, and the graphics are stunning. After the battle we also see how Aloy can use the override device from the Corruptor to control some of the machines herself, and even turn one into a trusty steed for her journey.

Horizon Zero Dawn is a huge game, so I might not do walkthroughs for it, but I’ll probably post some more gameplay videos on my YouTube Channel as I play through the game. Please feel free to like, share, and subscribe if you enjoy them, and thank you once again for all your amazing support for Sci-Fi Jubilee and my YouTube Channel!

Sci-Fi Jubilee My YouTube Channel Resident Evil 7 Biohazard

Thank you so much for checking out my YouTube Channel everyone! Well, after a short break from PS4 while I‘ve been busy with reviewing comics, I’ve now started playing Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. I’m a huge fan of the survival horror genre, especially the Resident Evil game series. Resident Evil 7 brings the series bang up to date for this next gen era of gaming. Set after the events of Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil 7 takes place in a remote mansion in modern day rural America. You play as Ethan Winters who has set out to find his missing wife, Mia, after receiving an email from her, and after travelling to the derelict mansion owned by the deranged Baker family you are plunged into  the sinister mystery that lurks within in its walls and grounds in this truly disturbing and realistic horror game.

The game is also played from a first-person-perspective, a first for the Resident Evil series, and it also supports the new Playstation VR MODE. I must admit, I was a little hesitant about the FPS format, as I don’t tend to like FPS style games that much, but I have to say the format suits Resident Evil perfectly. Its brilliantly gruesome and frightening, I don’t have the VR headset, but I should imagine it makes the game even more scary!

screenshot-93

This video features the start of the game and my initial look around the house. Its dark, scary, atmospheric stuff! I won’t say much about the storyline of the game because I don’t want to spoil it. Suffice to say, its really, really good, and I think Resident Evil 7 is a real return to form for the series. Hope you enjoy!

Resident Evil 7 embodies all the classic elements of the series that we know and love so well, and then some! I’ve had a great time playing it. I’ll keep posting my Resident Evil 7 gameplay videos on my YouTube Channel as I work my way through the game. Please feel free to like, share, and subscribe if you enjoy them, and thanks once again for all your awesome support for Sci-Fi Jubilee and my YouTube Channel!

Hi everyone! Thanks for checking out my YouTube Channel while I’ve been playing the Batman Return to Arkham Collection. I had a great time completing Arkham Asylum, so, after short break I’ve now started Arkham City. I’m really enjoying revisiting Arkham City again, the scope and scale of the game is even bigger than Arkham Asylum, and there are loads of great story moments and villains for Batman fans to enjoy!

screenshot-38

The first video I streamed features the opening of the Arkham City as Bruce Wayne is captured by Hugo Strange and sent to Arkham City. Once Batman suits up its time to save Catwoman from Two Face. We also get to see Penguin, Calendar Man, Harley Quinn, and Bane, before Batman tracks down the Joker’s hideout in the Steel Mill.

Having reached Joker’s lair its time for Batman’s first confrontation in this game with the Joker! I found a few Riddler trophies as well, sorry if I wander around a bit looking for them! There’s also the first part of the Catwoman storyline here as well, I’ve never played any of the DLC for Arkham City before, so that was fun.

In this video Batman searches the Old GCPD building to find out where Penguin has taken Mr Freeze. The Riddler and Deadshot missions begin, and this part concludes as Batman makes a poignant visit to Crime Alley.

I think the remastered graphics in Arkham City look really good as well, even better than Arkham Asylum. I’ll stream and post some more Arkham City videos on my channel as I play through the game, obviously it’s a much bigger game than Arkham Asylum, so I’ll probably concentrate on the main storyline and boss fights. I might uses some of the different character skins as well, like the 70’s Batman or Dark Knight Returns Batman, to mix things up a bit. So, look out for new videos on my YouTube channel as I explore Arkham City, I hope you enjoy them, and please feel free to hit that like button and subscribe if you do.

Thanks for watching and cheers for all your support!

Hello everyone, and thank you checking out my YouTube Channel.  I’ve been playing the Batman: Return to Arkham Collection recently, and I’ve now completed Arkham Asylum!

microsoft-edge-05_11_2016-11_58_35

I’m a big Batman fan, and I love all the Arkham games – so I’ve been eagerly awaiting the chance to play the remastered version of Arkham Asylum in this collection. The trio of new videos here cover lots of my favourite moments from playing Arkham Asylum again.

First is a face-off with the Scarecrow, featuring a really wacky mind-trip for Batman that cleverly gives us a chilling new version of the games opening sequence.

Time to explore Killer Croc’s lair! This was probably my favourite part of Arkham Asylum. Its creepy, atmospheric, and you never know when Killer Croc will jump out!

After defeating Poison Ivy in the Botanical Gardens, its time for the epic showdown with the Joker, and the final battle with the Titan / Joker! I’ve included the end credits as well and the cut scene afterwards.

This is the first time I’ve streamed a game from start to finish like this on my YouTube Channel, it went quite well, and I’d just like to say thank you for all the support you‘ve given me. It was a lot of fun to do. I thought the remastered graphics in Arkham Asylum looked very impressive overall, the storyline and combat mechanics were just as good as I remembered, and I loved the dark, creepy atmosphere of the whole game. All my Arkham Asylum walkthrough videos (1-12) are now on my YouTube channel, so please feel free to check them out and like and subscribe if enjoy them. I’ve had a great time playing Arkham Asylum again, cheers everyone, and thanks for joining me!

Next stop, Arkham City!

Hi all, thank you checking out my YouTube Channel. I’ve been a little busy with lots of comic book reviews recently, so I haven’t had as much time to play PS4 games for a few weeks. Anyway, I’ve been really looking forward to the Batman: Return to Arkham Collection, and I’ve just started Arkham Asylum.

screenshot-12

I’m a huge Batman fan so I’m going to have fun revisiting Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. These two new videos feature the opening parts of Arkham Asylum that I’ve played so far, I think it really set up the dark atmospheric tone of the game. From what I’ve seen so far the remastered graphics look good, but not quite as good as those in Batman: Arkham Knight.

I hope you enjoy the Return to Arkham videos, please feel free to hit that like button and subscribe if you do. I’ll probably post more Arkham Asylum videos on my channel as I work my way through the game. Maybe I’ll do longer clips like these, or just focus on the boss battles, which do you prefer? Let me know. So watch this space and get ready to meet some of Batman’s deadliest and craziest enemies as we return to the asylum…
