Hi everyone! Thanks for checking out my YouTube Channel while I’ve been playing the Batman Return to Arkham Collection. I had a great time completing Arkham Asylum, so, after short break I’ve now started Arkham City. I’m really enjoying revisiting Arkham City again, the scope and scale of the game is even bigger than Arkham Asylum, and there are loads of great story moments and villains for Batman fans to enjoy!

screenshot-38

The first video I streamed features the opening of the Arkham City as Bruce Wayne is captured by Hugo Strange and sent to Arkham City. Once Batman suits up its time to save Catwoman from Two Face. We also get to see Penguin, Calendar Man, Harley Quinn, and Bane, before Batman tracks down the Joker’s hideout in the Steel Mill.

Having reached Joker’s lair its time for Batman’s first confrontation in this game with the Joker! I found a few Riddler trophies as well, sorry if I wander around a bit looking for them! There’s also the first part of the Catwoman storyline here as well, I’ve never played any of the DLC for Arkham City before, so that was fun.

In this video Batman searches the Old GCPD building to find out where Penguin has taken Mr Freeze. The Riddler and Deadshot missions begin, and this part concludes as Batman makes a poignant visit to Crime Alley.

I think the remastered graphics in Arkham City look really good as well, even better than Arkham Asylum. I’ll stream and post some more Arkham City videos on my channel as I play through the game, obviously it’s a much bigger game than Arkham Asylum, so I’ll probably concentrate on the main storyline and boss fights. I might uses some of the different character skins as well, like the 70’s Batman or Dark Knight Returns Batman, to mix things up a bit. So, look out for new videos on my YouTube channel as I explore Arkham City, I hope you enjoy them, and please feel free to hit that like button and subscribe if you do.

Thanks for watching and cheers for all your support!

Hello everyone, and thank you checking out my YouTube Channel.  I’ve been playing the Batman: Return to Arkham Collection recently, and I’ve now completed Arkham Asylum!

microsoft-edge-05_11_2016-11_58_35

I’m a big Batman fan, and I love all the Arkham games – so I’ve been eagerly awaiting the chance to play the remastered version of Arkham Asylum in this collection. The trio of new videos here cover lots of my favourite moments from playing Arkham Asylum again.

First is a face-off with the Scarecrow, featuring a really wacky mind-trip for Batman that cleverly gives us a chilling new version of the games opening sequence.

Time to explore Killer Croc’s lair! This was probably my favourite part of Arkham Asylum. Its creepy, atmospheric, and you never know when Killer Croc will jump out!

After defeating Poison Ivy in the Botanical Gardens, its time for the epic showdown with the Joker, and the final battle with the Titan / Joker! I’ve included the end credits as well and the cut scene afterwards.

This is the first time I’ve streamed a game from start to finish like this on my YouTube Channel, it went quite well, and I’d just like to say thank you for all the support you‘ve given me. It was a lot of fun to do. I thought the remastered graphics in Arkham Asylum looked very impressive overall, the storyline and combat mechanics were just as good as I remembered, and I loved the dark, creepy atmosphere of the whole game. All my Arkham Asylum walkthrough videos (1-12) are now on my YouTube channel, so please feel free to check them out and like and subscribe if enjoy them. I’ve had a great time playing Arkham Asylum again, cheers everyone, and thanks for joining me!

Next stop, Arkham City!

Hi all, thank you checking out my YouTube Channel. I’ve been a little busy with lots of comic book reviews recently, so I haven’t had as much time to play PS4 games for a few weeks. Anyway, I’ve been really looking forward to the Batman: Return to Arkham Collection, and I’ve just started Arkham Asylum.

screenshot-12

I’m a huge Batman fan so I’m going to have fun revisiting Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. These two new videos feature the opening parts of Arkham Asylum that I’ve played so far, I think it really set up the dark atmospheric tone of the game. From what I’ve seen so far the remastered graphics look good, but not quite as good as those in Batman: Arkham Knight.

I hope you enjoy the Return to Arkham videos, please feel free to hit that like button and subscribe if you do. I’ll probably post more Arkham Asylum videos on my channel as I work my way through the game. Maybe I’ll do longer clips like these, or just focus on the boss battles, which do you prefer? Let me know. So watch this space and get ready to meet some of Batman’s deadliest and craziest enemies as we return to the asylum…

Sci-Fi Jubilee My YouTube Channel No Man’s Sky

New Worlds, Black Holes, & Strange Aliens

Thanks you for checking out and supporting my YouTube channel everyone! I’ve been playing No Man’s Sky recently. This has certainly proved to be a divisive game for many hasn’t it? I can see why it disappointed a lot of people, personally I don’t mind the game, especially now I’ve got the hyper drive going I can warp between systems – it opens up the scope of the game a lot more. So far I’ve explored lots of new systems, discovered plenty of bizarre life forms, took a swim down to some underwater ruins, visited space stations, travelled through a black hole, and met some rather strange aliens called Polo and Nada in a space anomaly.

Yes, despite, or perhaps because of, all the procedurally generated gazillion planets or whatever, the game can get very repetitive at times. It does have its moments though, I actually find No Man’s Sky is a game that’s very relaxing to play, and every now and then it makes you just want to stand still and admire the gorgeous scenery on some strange alien world.

So, did you get the game, how did you find it, or did you get a refund? Though I’ll probably continue to play No Man’s Sky for a bit longer, with so many new games being released soon, I expect it will become a game I will end up only revisiting occasionally. Anyway, I thought I’d put these clips together and share my travels so far in No Man’s Sky with you, hope you enjoy the video and please feel free to hit that like button and subscribe if you do.

Thanks for checking out and supporting my YouTube channel everyone! I’ve been playing some more Dark Souls 3 recently, battling through the Catacombs of Carthus, and my new video features the exciting boss fight with High Lord Wolnir. I must admit, it took me by surprise, I thought the spooky skull cup I found was going to be treasure! Then I’m transported into a dark realm and a giant skeleton thing starts crawling out from an abyss, EEEEP! Somehow I managed to defeat it on my first try. That’s what I like about Dark Souls 3, sure, it can be a really difficult game at times, frustrating even, but it rewards you with brilliant moment like this, all of the locations are so different and detailed as well, and you never EVER know what to expect next. Well, hope you enjoy the video and please feel free to hit that like button and subscribe if you do. Cheers!

No Man’s Sky Exploring Ruins & Visiting a Space Station

Thanks everyone for checking out my YouTube channel! I’ve been enjoying the summer so not been playing PS4 games as much recently, but I did get No Man’s Sky as I liked the sound of it. I did find the game a little frustrating at first, as it kinda throws you in at the deep end with virtually no instructions whatsoever, but once I got into space and started exploring other planets I was hooked! You can play the game any way you like, in fact there’s so much to do its mind boggling, and I think the graphics, scenery, and views from space look stunning! In this No Man’s Sky video I explored an ancient ruin and then took a trip to a space station. I think it gives you an idea what the game is like. I hope you enjoy the video and please feel free to hit that like button and subscribe if you do. Cheers!

Convoy Chase!

Thank you for checking out my YouTube channel Paul Bowler YouTube  and for all your support everyone! I started played Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End recently, and my latest video is from Chapter 11: Hidden In Plain Sight. The clip features some great action from end of the chapter, where Nathan and Sully escape in their jeep and chase the convoy to rescue Nate’s brother, Sam. This was my favourite bit so far in Uncharted 4, I’ve been enjoying this game so much! I don’t tend to be that good at driving sections in games though, so please excuse my terrible driving in this LOL! Hope you enjoy the video and please feel free to hit that like button and subscribe if you do. Cheers!

Advice, Editing, and Defeating Ludwig the Accused

Well, first off I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone for supporting my new YouTube channel Paul Bowler YouTube My last video was my first attempt at editing clips from my initial run through Bloodborn The Old Hunters. Bloodborne, The Old Hunters, & My First Attempt At Editing

As I’ve been playing a lot of Bloodborne lately I thought I’d get The Old Hunters DLC as well. So, since I started my YouTube channel Paul Bowler YouTube I thought it’d also be a good opportunity to use my initial run though The Old Hunters to make a new video, and have a go at editing it. I’ve never tried anything like this before, so its a bit rough around the edges, but I enjoyed having a go at editing for the first time. Well, here is the result! Let me know what you think. Hope you enjoy and please feel free to like and subscribe if you do.
