So are they going to take a long break between seasons and Dr’s?
I don’t think anything has been confirmed yet but I expect the new season will probably be sometime in 2023. If this trailer is anything to go by The Power of the Doctor looks set to be a big action-packed episode and send off for the 13th Doctor.
Looks good….and did I spot an old friend of mine in the art gallery? I’ll let you decide..https://ftsabersite.files.wordpress.com/2017/06/dsc_0301.jpg
Quite possibly! Yes, there are going to be a lot of returning faces in The Power of the Doctor, both friends and foes. This trailer certainly hints it will be a big action-packed epic send off for the 13th Doctor!
Out of her entire run, I enjoyed Flux the most. I wish she had been blessed with better writing out of the gate, maybe she would have been able to stick around a bit longer.
I completely agree. Doctor Who Flux was easily the best stories of the 13th Doctor’s era. I think Jodie Whittaker has been quite good as the Doctor, but sadly the stories have so often let her down.
I definitely want to see this!
It was a great episode, lots of action and surprises. Will be posting my review tonight.
I’m sure I’ll be watching this because of my husband.
It’s a really exciting and action packed episode.
😍can’t wait
I remember trying the first episode of Dr. Who a couple of years ago, wanting to catch up with this franchise and follow the whole hype around it but man… it was rough hahah How highly do you recommend Dr. Who? Is there a point in the series where you find that things really become much more interesting? 😮
Well, I’m a big Dr Who fan as you’ve probably guessed. I’ve very old school though, and I love the original old episodes of Dr Who that ran from the 60’s up until the late 80’s. The 4th Doctor, Tom Baker was my favourite. The 2005 reboot, or New Who as it’s often called now, is pretty good, but it’s a bit patchy in places – especially some of the stories. I’d certainly recommend the 3ed & 4th Doctor’s eras from the 70-80’s for newbies if you want to try out classic who. The stories were more self contained and easy to dip into at random, while New Who is more complex with continuity, so it’s harder to just dive into. I liked David Tennant as the Doctor and then later Peter Capaldi was also good IMOP – so I’d recommend those episodes that feature their Doctor’s.
