The new Spider-Man No Way Home trailer has finally arrived and it brings a multi-verse of villains along with it! The action-packed trailer delves even deeper into Spider-Man’s latest struggle as the multiverse begins to fracture and allow several classic Spidey villains from the multiverse to come pouring out through the cracks. Staring Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, this trailer suggests that Peter’s interruptions while the Sorcerer Supreme was conducting his memory-wiping spell led to the multiverse cracking open, and they seam to be at loggerheads as they try to deal with the ramifications of what they’ve unleashed.
Of course we already knew Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock would return, and it would seem he has the most prominent role to play in the new Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer. There’s also brief appearances from Electro (Jamie Foxx), Sandman, Lizard, and the Green Goblin!
Rumours abound about at who else might appear in Spider-Man No Way Home but this trailer doesn’t give anything more away on that front. Spider-Man No Way Home looks set to be an epic MCU movie event, and is certainly one of the most hotly anticipated films of the year. Spider-Man: No Way Home will be swinging into cinemas on December 15 in the UK and December 17 in the US!

Hi Paul, I saw this trailer earlier today and with the current hiatus with Star Wars films I might just be tempted to treat myself to a VIP ticket to see this instead this Christmas. I’ve been a Spidey fan since the 1970’s “The Amazing Spider-Man” series was on UK television.
I just hope Alfred Molina gets to sing “If I were a Rich Man” from Fiddler On the Roof (check YouTube for “Alfred Molina Does Fiddler On The Roof” if you haven’t seen it, it is quite brilliant!)
I’m really looking forward to seeing Spider-Man No Way Home as well. I always like these cross-over style movies with lots of characters, great that Morlina is returning as Dr Ock as well. 🙂
I hope they don’t try to pack in too many villains. It’ll dilute the story.
Yeah, I think Doc Ock will be a focal point and the others probably cameos maybe?
Cameos I can handle. I just remember Spiderman 3 and how the storyline was ruined by trying to have 3 different villains all at once.
Yeah, Spider-Man 3 was a bit of a jumble – although that was partly because they knew it would be the last film in that series and they were trying to squeeze ideas for Spider-Man 4 into Spider-Man 3 as well. I think things will be handled very differently in Spider-Man No Way Home, and it will be ore of a glimpse into the possibilities the Multiverse has to offer rather than just cramming in characters just for the sake of it.
Or it could be a multiversal Sinister 6 type story, where the main focus is on Doc Oc … kind of like the Spider-Man PS4 game.
Yeah, I;’m leading towards it being like that Spider-Man PS4 game, and I think there was a multiverse games on PS3 once that features different Spider-Men, including Spider Noir and Spider-Man 2099.
I was really hoping we would have been given at least a glimpse or hint of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, but it still was an awesome trailer! To think we are now less than a month away from New and exciting Spidey content. Plus, it’s great that the film is an integral part of the current MCU story line about a fractured multiverse.
Despite not know about any other potential characters appearing. in the film, I still thought it was a brilliant trailer, and pretty cool that it didn’t actually give too much away either. I think its brilliant how the MCU is expanding to include a multiverse, it opens up so many possibilities. If more Spider-Man version do indeed show up in Spider-Man No Way Home I have a feeling it will be a bit of an Avengers Endgame ‘Avengers Assemble’ moment for audiences! 🙂
Even better would be if other characters like the Fox X-Men or Wesley Snipes’ Blade come through, but that is wishful thinking!
Yeah, that’d be awesome. Unlikely though I think as its more of a Spider-Man focused film but the Fox X-Men and Snipes Blade could well turn up in the future perhaps.
If they are going to appear in this movie, they’ll probably try to keep that a surprise.
Yeah, I think so as well. I doubt a major reveal like that will feature in a trailer.
This movie looks like it’ll be fun, just like the previous two Spider-Man movies. Throwing in a number of villains hasn’t worked out so well for Spider-Man movies in the past though, so I am a touch concerned. But then again, all of these villains have been previously introduced. If they focus mainly on one, and the others are extras, this could still work out.
There are rumours that Toby and Andrew will also appear in this movie. I’m not willing to expect them, but it would be great to see all three film Spider-Men side-by-side fighting the inter-dimmensional Sinister Six.
I am a little concerned that having so many villains could overload the plot, like it did back with Spider-Man 3, but I have a feeling this effort will handle things much better. Once things for sure the hype for Spider-Man No Way Home is off the charts now, and I think we could be looking at one of the. biggest films of the year – certainly for the MCU anyway.
I don’t watch all of these kinds of superhero films, but I never miss a Spiderman flick. This looks like it’ll deliver the goods!
P.S. Thought of you the other day when I watched Shang-Chi and the Legend of the 10 Rings. Wasn’t my choice of film, but wowee! What a wild ride! I thought the effects were A-maz-ing.
Yeah, Superhero films can be a bit hit and miss sometimes, but I’m always down for a Spider-Man movie as well. He’s one of my favourite comic book characters. Super excited to see No Way Home! Glad you enjoyed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the 10 Rings as well, I thought it was a great movie too. 🙂
Well looks like I will be taking my grandson to this one! Thanks
Spider-Man No Way Home is set to be a big blockbuster movie. I’m sure you’ll have a great time and enjoy this superhero adventure! I can’t wait to see it as well 🙂
