Sci-Fi Jubilee My YouTube Channel The Last of Us Part 2
I’ve been playing The Last of Us Part 2 on PS4, the eagerly awaited sequel to critically acclaimed PS3 game The Last of Us (2013) from Naughty Dog. The Last of Us Part 2 is set five years after the original games story which features dangerous journey across a post-pandemic United States overrun by terrifying mutations, Ellie and Joel have now settled down in Jackson, Wyoming.
Ellie and Dina Run For Their Lives From A Horde of Infected!
Living with this thriving group of survivors has brought a time of peace and stability into their lives, despite the ever present threat of the infected mutations and dangerous groups of other survivors. However, following a violent incident, Ellie sets out on a dangerous journey to carry out justice and find sone sense of closure. But as she hunts down those responsible she must confront the untold horrors of this ravaged world and the terrible physical and emotional consequences of her actions.
Driving like crazy to escape a horde of infected
I’ve been really looking forward to The Last of Us Part 2, the original game was fantastic, and I’m glad to say that the sequel is just as good. It combines survival horror elements, stealth, and great combat with a powerful storyline full of tension, action and emotion so I thought it would be a great game to feature in some videos on my YouTube Channel. It does still feels a bit strange playing yet another game about a pandemic while we are still coping with a real worldwide pandemic like COVID 19 right now, but I’ve still enjoyed having a new game to play nevertheless.
I’ll post more gameplay videos on my YouTube Channel as I play through The Last of Us Part 2. Please feel free to like and subscribe if you enjoy the videos, and I’d also like to say a huge thank you for all your support of Sci-Fi Jubilee and my YouTube Channel. Cheers everyone, take care, and stay safe out there.

I’m about half way through The Last of Us Part II and it’s an incredible game. I don’t get why it’s been so divisive – to me it’s a masterpiece, such a powerful, well written story and phenomenal acting (the motion capture is brilliant). Sure, it gets pretty dark and very violent but I actually like the way things are dealt with and asks some challenging moral questions.
Graphics are beautiful and the some nice improvements to the gameplay with better combat mechanics and new weapons.
But ultimately it’s more than a game to me, it’s a gripping, tense and emotional experience – just like the first one was.
I totally agree. I’m about half-way through the game as well now. Sure, its a brutal game at times, an emotional roller coaster for sure, but I can”t understand how its seemingly become so decisive. The Last of Us Part 2 ihas a powerful, gripping storyline and the graphics are stunning. I really enjoyed the first game as well and think this game is a worth sequel indeed. I’ve become completely hooked on the story and the action scenes are nerve jangling. A brilliant game all round IMOP as well.
Yeah, unfortunately a lot of the negativity seems to be bigotry towards the main characters and some are unhappy with the story choices. I honestly don’t get it myself, it doesn’t take the easy route and just retread what’s come before which, to me, is what any true and worthy sequel should do.
Exactly, it is a shame to see how some have reacted to the game. I just don’t understand it. If anything, The Last of Us 2 could have taken an easy route, but it chose to do something new and challenging, and for that I have nothing but high praise for it. Its an incredible looking game as well, the characters, the infected, and the scene are all stunningly realised.
I’m enjoying the game as well…although I am anxious to hunt clickers…I keep having to deal with cruel, blood-thirsty humans instead!
Cheers Tom! I think its a great game as well. There’s lots of different infected and humans to fight, makes for some interesting and exciting gameplay. I really like the story as well and the graphics are stunning.
I finished the game last week and I hope you’ll have a blast with the second-half/finale! The attention to detail in this game is mind-boggling!
Thank you! 🙂
Great video. Brings the terror right back !
Thanks! I enjoyed The Last of Us Part 2, it has some great nerve jangling moments. It was an amazing looking game as well.
So pretty. I don’t even think the PS5 could do much to enhance it
The game world in the Last of Us 2 elevates the graphics to a whole new level, and some of the boss fights are really scary – especially abasing the Rat King!
The Rat King is just terrifying. Truly one of the most terrifying boss battles I have encountered – gives me the shivers just thinking about it 🙂
