Yay! Looks great!
It looks really exciting & fun as well! Always look forward to the Star Trek films.
I’m not sure how I feel about this trailer.
There are bits I like and other bits that I’m not too sure about. It all looks very spectacular, just hope it can deliver on the story front.
I hope so too, because as much as Into Darkness is just ok, the first Star Trek reboot movie is fantastic and I hope they can do that again.
I liked the first Star Trek reboot film as well, they got the characters and story just right, hopefully they will be able to manage that again.
I think this looks awful, especially with that soundtrack!
Some bits look exciting, but the soundtrack for the trailer isn’t exactly what I’d expect for Star Trek.
I get that they want to make it exciting for the non-trek fans but it’s like they’re going out of their way to PO fans who like classic Trek. But that Beastie Boys just ruined it. Maybe another trailer will do better.
Wasn’t the same song used in the 2009 film when young Kirk steals the car? I think the movie is going to be good. Too many get worked up over a ninety second trailer, I’ll definitely see it opening weekend.
I think you might be right about the song, I’m not sure? Yes, the trailer has divided opinion somewhat, but that’s often the case. I’ve enjoyed the new Star Trek films so far, so I’ll certainly be checking out Star Trek Destiny as well!
Looks totally action-packed! I wonder, what is the alien race that is portrayed?
It looks really exciting. I’m not sure who the aliens are either, sure we will find out soon enough.
